BECAUSE THE TRUTH COULD SAVE A LIFE
Youth aged 12 to 17 who used an illicit drug in the past year-were almost twice as likely to engage in violent behavior than those who did not use an illicit drug.

Testing Menu:

Hair Follicle Testing:
Hair testing is the most accurate and effective method of finding users of drugs of abuse. Using a small sample of hair cut at the scalp, hair analysis evaluates the amount of drug metabolites embedded inside the hair shaft. When compared to the more traditional forms of testing, i.e. urine testing, hair samples can detect a longer period of drug use. With hair samples, the only time limitation for detecting drug usage is imposed by the length of the donor’s hair. Each ½ inch of head hair provides a 30-day history of drug use. The standard for the industry is to test 1.5 inches, which provides a 90-day history of the donor’s drug use. If no head hair is available, body hair can be used. Bleaches, shampoos and external contaminants (i.e. marijuana smoke) have no known impact on test results.
  • 5-Panel Test: Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates, Amphetamines (including Methamphetamine), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Ecstasy (MDMA).
  • 5-Panel w/Extended Opiate Panel: All of the above plus Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Hydromorphone (Dilaudid).
  • 10-Panel Test: 5-Panel plus Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone, and Propoxyphene.
  • Alcohol Hair Testing: This hair test will detect a direct metabolite of Ethanol (beverage alcohol) called Ethyl Glucuronide (ETG).
  • Date Rape Panel: Over 20 potential date rape drugs are detected.

Urine Testing:
Urine testing is the oldest and most widely used method of testing for drug and alcohol use. Although the period of detection is shorter than hair testing, urine testing plays an integral part of any random drug testing program. Additionally, Paymer Associates uses many techniques to ensure that adulteration of urine samples does not occur by conducting thorough screens for adulterants, observation of the donor urinating by a trained individual of the same gender (only when specifically requested), and checking the urine sample for proper temperature.

  • The following drugs are routinely checked by urinalysis: Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates, Amphetamines, Methamphetamine, Phencyclidine (PCP), Benzodiazepine, Barbiturate, Methadone, Ecstasy (MDMA), Propoxyphene, Buprenorphine (Suboxone), Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone.
  • EtG/EtS Alcohol Test: Two specific metabolites of Ethanol (beverage alcohol), Ethyl Glucuronide and Ethyl Sulfate, which remain detectable for approximately 40 hours.
  • Complete Steroid Panel
  • Synthetic Cannabinoids such as K2, Salvia, and bath salts.

Paymer Associates also utilizes Breathalyzer Testing, 5-Panel Drug Patch, and the SCRAM continuous alcohol monitor, and SOBERLINK Remote Breathalyzer Testing.

Other tests can be conducted as needed. Please call Paymer Associates, LLC, at 203-445-1400.
